Perfect Skin – Terms & Conditions for Advanced Skin Treatments

Effective Date: 1st February 2019

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between Perfect Skin (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the client (“you”, “your”). By booking or undergoing treatment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Deposits & Payment Policy (Prominent & Binding)

1.1 All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

Deposits secure your appointment, reserve specialist equipment (CO₂ laser, plasma, IPL, RF), and cover treatment preparation and clinical time.

This applies equally to cancellations, rescheduling, changes of mind, or failure to attend.

1.2 Deposits are deductible from the total treatment price but are never returnable.

1.3 If you cancel or fail to attend, your deposit is forfeited.

1.4 Full balances must be paid on or before the treatment date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.5 All Course Payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.

2. Appointment, Cancellation & Rescheduling.

2.1 At least 7 days’ notice is required to reschedule. Less than 7 days may result in loss of deposit and a new deposit being required for rebooking.

2.2 Clients who miss appointments (“no-shows”) will automatically lose their deposit.

2.3 Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in refusal of further bookings.

3. Client Health Declarations & Responsibilities.

3.1 You must provide a full, accurate medical history before treatment. This includes:

Current medications and supplements

Skin conditions, infections, or recent cosmetic/medical procedures

Allergies (including lidocaine, topical agents, or adhesives)

History of keloid scarring, poor wound healing, or autoimmune disorders

Pregnancy or breastfeeding status

3.2 You must inform us immediately of any changes to your health or medications before future treatments.

3.3 You must follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions. Failure to do so may increase risks and compromise results.

3.4 We are not liable for adverse outcomes caused by inaccurate or incomplete disclosure.

4. Treatment Risks & Contraindications

4.1 All advanced aesthetic treatments carry risks, which may include: redness, swelling, bruising, burns, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, infection, blistering, or scarring.

4.2 Specific contraindications apply:

CO₂ Laser – not suitable for recent isotretinoin use, active infection, certain skin conditions, or history of poor wound healing.

Plasma Skin Tightening – contraindicated in pregnancy, pacemaker use, or open lesions.

IPL Hair Removal – unsuitable for tanned skin, recent sun exposure, or photosensitising medications.

RF Facelift – not suitable for clients with metal implants in the treatment area.

Collagen Facial Pads – not recommended for clients with certain allergies or active skin irritation.

4.3 Results vary by individual; no guarantees are made.

5. Aftercare Responsibilities

5.1 You will be provided with written aftercare guidelines. Typical instructions may include:

Daily use of SPF

Avoidance of direct sun, heat, or tanning treatments

No picking, scratching, or applying unapproved creams

Attending recommended follow-ups

5.2 Failure to follow aftercare may lead to complications for which we are not liable.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Treatments are carried out to the highest professional standards. However, to the extent permitted by law:

We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Our liability is capped at the cost of the treatment performed.

6.2 We are not liable for:

Complications caused by failure to disclose medical conditions or medications

Adverse outcomes due to non-compliance with aftercare

Unrealistic expectations or dissatisfaction with subjective results

8. Data Protection

8.1 We comply with the UK GDPR. Your records are confidential and stored securely.

8.2 Information will not be shared without your consent, except where legally required.

9. Refund Policy

9.1 All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

9.2 Treatment fees beyond the deposit are also non-refundable once treatment has commenced.

9.3 Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction with results, as outcomes vary between individuals.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 Disputes should first be addressed directly with us. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or the UK courts.
